Our Shipping agents are Local Courier & DHL/Fedex.

SINGAPORE

Deliveries in Singapore will be provided by local courier to your doorstep within 3-5 working days.

(Complimentary standard shipping provided for purchases of SGD50 and above.)

A flat rate of SGD5 is applicable for purchases below SGD50.

If you need next-day delivery, please utilise Expedited Delivery with charges of SGD15.

At Pearly Lustre, our dedicated staff always hope our clients are delighted with their online purchases. However, should you have a change of mind upon receiving your order, or you are not satisfied with the workmanship or finish of any item, you may return the piece to us within 7 days from the date of the arrival of your order.

All jewelry items must be returned in an unused condition and in the original packaging. Returns that are not in original condition, or arrive outside of the stipulated time frame cannot be accepted. We are not able to offer refunds for online purchases but we offer exchanges for the item/s returned.

The price for the new replacement item must be of the same value or higher than the exchanged item. Please notify us promptly by email at enquiry@pearlylustre.com of your intention to return any item/s for exchange and provide your name, contact and order/invoice number.

The quality of all of our products is carefully checked before packing to ensure it is in the best condition. Should you receive a product that is not in perfect condition, please email us immediately, at enquiry@pearlylustre.com with photographs of the product and a description of the problem, together with your contact details within 7 days of receiving your order.

Products are classified as having defects if they are received with damage incurred during shipment or due to a manufacturing fault. Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging. Please ensure the items are properly packed to avoid further damage during return shipment. Returned goods are your responsibility until we have received them. Shipping costs for returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the client.

Pearly Lustre reserves the right to refuse any return which is not in its original condition, except for products that have been received by the client with damage incurred during its initial shipment.

CARE FOR PEARLS

Pearls are made naturally by the oyster or mussel. They will retain its natural color and lustre if well maintained. After each wear, use pearly lustre silver polishing cloth to wipe your pearl jewelry as perspiration and body oil from the skin is acidic and may affect the pearl jewelry's lustre. Pearl jewelry may require restringing with regular use and over time. Pearly Lustre customer service: enquiry@pearlylustre.com

All Jewelry Accessories should be treated with care. Here are some tips to look after your items to ensure they continue to look good: Avoid exposure to water, perfume, hairspray, lotion and chemicals. Do not wear to sleep, bathe or during sporting activities. Clean after use with Pearly Lustre silver polishing cloth. Keep in the jewelry pouch provided or pearly lustre antioxidant bag to avoid scratches. Store in a dry area. Avoid hot & humid areas.

Should you notice the sparkle of the stones is dull or slight tarnish from regular wear, you may wash with mild hand soap with cold water or use professional jewelry cleaner to restore to its full sparkle. Use a soft toothbrush to reach the small corners to clean, if needed. 

General Silver Care 

Using Pearly Lustre’s silver polishing cloth, gently rub the silver several times. This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver like new.

Please note: chlorine and bleach accelerate tarnishing, and should be avoided. 

Storing Silver 

Once cleaned and polished, silver must be kept dry and properly stored.

2. Surface treatment service for 25SGD that will restore your jewel to its original appearance.

We politely request that faulty or damaged items are returned to a PEARLY LUSTRE to be sent to our Repairs and Services Department for assessment. We would advise that you return to 250 Orchard Road, #02-01 Singapore 230905. However if this is inconvenient for you, we would advise you to contact our customer service for assistance.

Our customer service will be able to keep you up to date with the progress of your repair/replacement and the item will be returned to you when the assessment/repair is complete.

All our pearls are acquired through direct sources and inspected by our professional inspectors at each source to ensure authenticity.

Staffs are trained with Gemological Institute of America Inc. GIA.

We are also committed to provide full refund to you if any of our pearl is proven not genuine.

Feel the temperature

Real pearls are cold to touch for the first couple of seconds before warming up against your skin.

Fake plastic pearls have the same temperature as the room temperature and you don’t feel the coolness when you touch them. However, fake ones that are made of glass beads can be cool to touch to start with. But it tends to take them longer to warm up against your skin than real pearls.

Look for tiny irregularities

Real pearls are only rarely "perfect". Usually, they'll have small blemishes or irregularities in their shape. In a real pearls, you can always see very tiny differences between them, even when they are top quality and well matched.

If the pearls are completely perfect and identical in terms of shape, size, colour and surface characteristics, they are probably fake.

Examine the colour 

Real pearls often have an overtone, a translucent colour that appears on the outer surface of a pearl. It is especially noticeable among fine quality pearls. You’ll see a hint of pink, green over the main pearl colour.

If you notice the pearls have only one uniform colour and are lack of depth, they are likely to be fake. But it’s worth noting that some real pearls have no overtone either.

Observe the shape

Most real pearls are rarely round. In general, round pearls command a higher price than pearls of other shapes. But even with a strand of real pearl necklace that is perfectly round, you can still see some slight differences in their pearl shapes.

So whatever the pearl shape, if you find them completely identical, it’s probably a sign that they’re made by machines.

Rub the pearls to check surface feel

Real pearls have textured surface due to their layered nacre structure. So when you rub the pearls lightly against each other or on your front teeth, you feel a little gritty. Fake or imitation pearls, however, usually feel smooth or glassy.

Check drill holes

In imitation pearls, you can often see flakes or chipped coating around the drill holes that will eventually peel off.

Our Akoya pearls are grown in Japan as well as China and Vietnam, are among the most popular and high-quality varieties of saltwater pearls, prized for their superior lustre and nearly ideal round shape.

Our Elegant, WonderLand and New Yorker series are all made of sterling silver 925 with gold plated while our Passion for Life series is a mixture of various metals.

Our items are made using gold-plated sterling silver. If it tarnishes or loses its shine over a period of time, please use the silver polishing cloth provided by us to clean and polish the jewelry to have it as good as new again.
