1981년 4월 15일, 반다 미스 조아킴(Vanda Miss Joaquim)이 싱가포르의 국화로 선정되었습니다. 40종의 꽃 중에서 선택되었으며, 여러 종류의 반다 미스 조아킴 중에서 "아그네스(Agnes)" 품종이 특히 생생한 색상, 강인함 및 회복력으로 선택되었습니다. 이러한 특성은 싱가포르의 정신을 반영합니다.
각 Vanda Miss Joaquim 꽃은 약 5cm 너비와 6cm 높이입니다. 위쪽 꽃받침과 꽃잎은 연한 분홍색이며, 가운데의 천사 모양 입술은 밝은 분홍자주색으로, 주황색 중심에는 붉은 자주색 반점이 있습니다.

CARE FOR PEARLS
